About Us

We have been in business since 1988 and incorporated since 1991.  Through all of the various iterations we have tried to dedicate ourselves to customer service.  We have always taken the position that if we cannot do what is best for you, we will recommend that you find a firm that can.

We have become booksellers because we love books.  Obviously we love to read, but we also love keeping books, as objects of art as it were.  We have been known to buy a book because we thought it was beautiful, irrespective of its contents.

Our business philosophy is straight forward.  We have books that we have selected for various reasons that we hope to sell to people who want them.  We have done our best to describe all of their flaws in great detail so that our customers know what to expect.  If you feel that we have missed something let us know.  We are happy to take any book back at our expense.  If you simply change your mind about a book we will take it back and pay the shipping cost to boot (we do expect you to decide you have changed your mind in a ‘reasonable’ amount of time).
